TATA Motors in Nepal announced the winners of “TATA Nexon Middle Name Contest” Facebook campaign on March 23, Friday. Through this campaign, 5 Lucky Winners won 1 tola gold each. In order to participate, Facebook users had to keep NEXON as their middle name in their profile.The five lucky winners are Suraj Nexon Niraula, Mahesh Nexon Bhattarai, Hariee Nexon Khadka, Radha Krishna Nexon Pathak, Sapkota Nexon Subodh.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Prabin Khatiwada (GM) for Tata Motors in Nepal thanked everyone who participated and said that the idea of this campaign was created by the Sipradi marketing team and it is the first time in Nepal that such a campaign has been done where the name of the product has been kept as a middle name. He added that Tata Motors launched this scheme thinking of how to involve the viewers in the campaign. And the effect of the scheme was such that, though many other brands had launched a similar scheme/contest, participants who kept NEXON as their middle name were also the winners and it has been a very successful event. In the last two months, 618 people changed their middle names and even though only 5 lucky winners would be announced, all the other 618 participants were winners as well. He further added that Tata Motors will continue to bring similar campaigns in the near future.
The campaign started from January 2018 till February 2018.
